J.D. Power thinks the 2015 Kia Sedona is APEAL-ing. We agree!

We are thrilled to announce that the 2015 Kia Sedona has won the APEAL award in the J.D. Power Minivan segment. APEAL stands for: A Pretty Extraordinary Automotive League (just kidding) but it might as well! The study in fact looks at Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) of a particular vehicle.  Historically with our brand, the APEAL award has usually been associated with the Kia Soul which, before this year had won the award three consecutive years in a row in the Compact Multi-Purpose vehicle segment. However, this year it’s the Sedona’s turn in the spotlight. When designing the Sedona, Kia wanted to put families first. The Smart-Power Liftgate, dual panoramic sunroofs, and unparalleled safety features helped achieve this task. The Sedona reinvents what a minivan should be: not only safe and reliable but premium, luxurious, and built with cutting edge design. As the Kia brand continues to grow and improve, we are both overjoyed and humbled by the recognition our vehicles are getting. Along with the J.D Power IQS awards we received for the Kia Soul and the Kia Sorento, this has been one of the best years yet! We are movin’ on up- and we can’t wait to share the ride with all of you!

Since 2007, FIFA and Kia have worked together to bring the excitement of the world’s greatest game to soccer fans all over the world. The FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™, takes place from June 6th to July 5th at venues in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and Moncton. The games are sure to be unforgettable, but there’s even more fun in store for fans off of the field. During the Ottawa and Montreal matches, Kia is proud to host Fan Zones where fans of the sport can engage with interactive soccer activities to receive prizes, premium giveaways, photo opportunities, and more!   In addition to the pre-game Fan Zones, Kia is inviting 6 young soccer stars and their teams to walk with Shuéme, the official FIFA Women’s World Cup mascot, to her pitch.  To bring our soccer nation together, Kia has organized various mobile pop up screening parties during the games of Team Canada. Visitors get to sit in bean bag chairs, enjoy a cold beverage, watch the game on a big screen TV and enter for a chance to win  prizes. Additionally, by bringing their ‘game face’, fans can also participate in a chance  to win a trip to the final match in Vancouver! On top of all this excitement, Kia is offering online ticket giveaways to select FIFA Women’s World Cup matches, as well as providing game-day coverage for the fans that want to keep tabs on what’s going on. There’s plenty to be excited about as we share in this journey with FIFA Women’s World Cup. We’re thrilled to be a part of it now and for years to come!
