For the second year in a row, J.D. Power’s U.S. Initial Quality Study honoured the iconic Soul with the highest ranking in its segment. Moreover, the Sportage also ranked highest among small SUVs, as it continues to impress drivers the world over.    The stylish Sportage’s crossover also scored big points with a recent Red Dot award for Product Design, one of the most prestigious international product design competitions. The new Sportage isn’t the only vehicle to receive a coveted ‘Red Dot’, the Optima sedan did as well. In fact, the Kia Optima was bestowed with a ‘Best of the Best’ award, the competition’s highest distinction, for which only the most ground-breaking designs in a category are eligible.   Finally, reinforcing Kia’s ongoing commitment to safety and continuous improvement, the all-new 2017 Kia Sportage also earned a Top Safety Pick Plus (TSP+) from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The 2016 Optima and Sportage also received a Top Safety Pick Plus, while the Sedona and Soul received an equally impressive Top Safety Pick.    From compact to crossover, every Kia is built with precision engineering, outstanding performance, innovative features, and advanced safety systems. Kia is committed to producing exceptional vehicles with superb quality and reliability to suit your driving need, and we will continueto deliver an extraordinary combination of design, quality and safety for years to come. Experience our award-winning line-up for yourself by booking a test drive at kia.ca, or by visiting your local Kia dealer.

Kia is [Made for You]

9. June 2016 11:25 by Administrator | 0 Comments

What’s the most important part of any Kia vehicle? Its driver and passengers. At Kia, we value the people for whom we make our cars, and we love hearing about how Kia is improving every day life for its beloved drivers. In March, we launched our Made for You testimonial videos, so we could all get to know some of our drivers a little bit better. We heard some fantastic stories, and got to know some amazing people. The best part of these video testimonials was learning more about our extended Kia family. Take Vanessa, for instance: she won a Kia Sportage through a contest, which inevitably saved her family home! She and her mother were about to lose their family home, and selling their Kia Sportage enabled them to keep their house. Vanessa was always grateful to Kia, and remains a happy, loyal Kia driver to this day! Don, his wife Amber, and their beautiful family love their Kia. Not only does it fit their lifestyle and their growing family perfectly, but they’ve experienced its safety first-hand. Don was in a scary accident, which he recalls in his video, and is grateful for Kia’s commitment to safety. After all, his family’s safety is his first priority. Brent is a Kia superfan! He’s had four different Kia vehicles, but is particularly fond of the Sedona, which he toured around in as a musician. He was impressed that the comfortable and spacious Sedona could seat his band members, as well as his precious gear. He even introduced his mother to Kia! Her favourite Kia feature? Heated seats! Check out his story below. Kia is made for people like you. We would love to keep hearing from you, so if you have a Kia story you’d like to share, or if you’d like to let us know how Kia has made a difference in your life, please connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, snail mail, or carrier pigeon, and share your Kia-ism.

The All-New 2016 Optima

22. December 2015 11:28 by Administrator | 0 Comments

The All-New 2016 Optima is redefining performance for you – whoever you may be. That’s because the Optima isn’t a sports sedan, a family car or a luxury car. It doesn’t fit into these tight little boxes the automotive world likes to place cars in. Instead, it brings together the best elements of all these things in one exciting package and it’s redefining the way each one performs. So whatever you look for in a car, the Optima will surely exceed your expectations. The 2016 Optima not only has new performance options in the form of 3 engine choices, it offers drivers a way to tap into what they want out of them with selectable Drive Modes. So when you want a sports sedan, select sport mode to stiffen up the steering, increase engine responsiveness, and take advantage of the sport-tuned suspension while you let the available 2.0L turbo engine push you back in your seat. But if you prefer a more leisurely, fuel-efficient commute, then eco mode is for you.

Kia Canada Sends Two Superfans to Korea as part of Customer Loyalty Program 2015

7. October 2015 11:06 by Administrator | 0 Comments

Since 2012, Kia Canada has scoured the country to find the ultimate Superfan. Now in its third year, Kia is offering two grand prizes of round trips to Korea where winners will enjoy a 3-night and 4-day stay, from September 21st to 25th as well as a guided tour of Kia headquarters and the cultural cityscapes of Seoul, South Korea.  To win, fans had up to 2,000 words to explain what makes them the biggest Kia Superfan. This year’s winners are:  Frederick Alarie and his wife Isabelle have been part of the Kia family for fourteen years. Their four children keep them young at heart and their Kia vehicles in good use. Over the years, they have enjoyed three Sedona models and a Soul to “taxi” their children to all their events and activities. Next on their radar is the newest generation Soul to add to their charming family. As huge soccer fans, Frederick and Isabelle look forward to supporting their favourite MLS team: the Montreal Impact along with their healthy growing band of Kia enthusiasts. We think the Alarie family members are our most enthusiastic Superfans yet!      Dan MacNeil fell in love with the Optima for its sleek, sophisticated body lines and high-performance handling. Dan and his wife have 5 kids, so the Optima was always out of reach until last year when this longtime admirer and advocate finally got the “go-ahead” from his wife to purchase his sporty Optima. Now, he is eager to make other drivers jealous of his 6th ”baby.”     Some of our previous Superfan winners have shared their wonderful stories and even started a following! They are:   Sebastien Fortin, who after buying a Forte Koup SX in 2010 started a Forte car club in Quebec. Since its beginning, the club has expanded to include all Kia models and now has almost 1,400 members.   Elaine Baird, who bought a Soul in 2011, named it "Emma” and created a fantastic blog about it.   Trevor Smith, who bought a Rondo in 2008 and traded it for a 2012 Kia Soul. Trevor is a regular contributor to online Kia forums, with thousands of posts since 2007.   David Poirier, who has owned five Kia vehicles since 1999 and even convinced his father to buy Kia vehicles. Since then, he and his father have owned eleven Kias between them. In 2012, he drove up to his wedding in a brand new Kia Rio. Join us in celebrating Kia’s superfans and global ambassadors! We aim to continue this contest in the years to come in celebration of our loyal and extraordinary Kia fans. This program and contest celebrates loyal and extraordinary Kia fans by bringing them closer to the heart of its origins and rewarding them with a trip of a lifetime.
